Reading a report about Ben, it appeared Ben’s Mother understood and was ‘devastated’ that South Yorkshire Police were giving up on Ben’s case. Reading a case update on 19th May it now appears that was a ‘misunderstanding.’

It is interesting to read that Skynews reported that according to SYP they state: “The Greek investigation is open and we believe it will remain open until a conclusion is reached. Our involvement in support of the investigation has not changed.”

I would be in agreement with Ben’s Mother that left to Greek Police, then nothing is likely to be done.

In my view, for what it’s worth, it is critical that the ‘most likely place’ where Ben was buried on the day he disappeared 24 July 1991, is searched as soon as possible, without any further delay. Why this area was never considered and therefore not searched in 2016, when SYP conducted an extensive ‘dig’ on Kos Island, remains unanswered.
